Bitcoin is sitting in extreme volatility compression again. The next move probably won’t be boring ????

Bitcoin has gone unusually quiet.

According to this analysis, 90-day realised volatility is in the 8th percentile of its trailing four-year history, while the 180-day trading range is in the 12th percentile.

The chart marks 14 previous completed compression episodes since 2016. Some broke down, others broke up but the interesting part is how rarely BTC stays compressed for long.

And right now we’re sitting in another unresolved compression.

Low volatility doesn’t tell us the direction. It just tells us the spring is getting tighter.

So what breaks first this time: $BTC to the upside, or the floor underneath it? ????
